Skin tightening
Focused ultrasound that reaches the same deep layer a surgeon tightens, without an incision. The only lifting treatment here that works below the skin entirely.
$4,800per treatment
The full lifting treatment
New clients save 15% on your first treatment.
Every price here is a starting price, because Ultherapy is quoted by the number of ultrasound lines delivered and that depends on your anatomy and the areas treated. The range across this page is wide, from a single area to a full face and neck, so your exact quote comes from the assessment rather than from this page. You will have the number before anything is booked.

Ultherapy · Brow
In short
Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound to deposit heat at precise depths beneath the skin, including the SMAS layer that a surgeon tightens during a facelift. The heat causes controlled contraction and triggers new collagen production over the following months. Nothing is cut and nothing is injected, and because the energy passes through the surface without damaging it, there is no downtime.
Every other tightening treatment on this menu works through the skin: needles make channels, radiofrequency heats the dermis, lasers resurface the surface. Ultherapy skips all of it. Focused ultrasound passes through the surface without touching it and deposits its energy at a set depth underneath, including the SMAS, which is the layer a surgeon actually pulls on during a facelift. That is why it is the most expensive thing here and why it involves no recovery at all: nothing on the outside of you has been treated.

How it works
Why it can reach surgical depth without an incision.
Ultrasound imaging lets the provider see the layers beneath your skin before any energy is delivered, so treatment is planned against your actual anatomy rather than a standard template.
Micro-focused ultrasound is then delivered in lines at set depths, depositing heat at precise points beneath the surface. The skin the energy passes through is unaffected, which is why there is no downtime.
Those heated points contract immediately and then trigger new collagen production, which is the part that lifts. The result builds over two to three months rather than appearing on the day.
Which product
Four ways to tighten, working at four different depths.

Starts working: 8 to 12 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Micro-focused ultrasound, and the only one of these that reaches the SMAS layer a surgeon tightens. Ultrasound imaging means the provider sees where energy is going. Deepest, most expensive, no downtime. This is what BHRC carries.
Starts working: 2 to 4 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Radiofrequency delivered through needles into the dermis. Shallower than Ultherapy, so better for skin quality and texture alongside tightening, and considerably cheaper at $1,200. Also carried here, and often the better value.
Starts working: 2 to 6 months. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Monopolar radiofrequency across a broad area rather than at focused points. A reasonable alternative with a long track record. ⚠️ BHRC does not carry Thermage.
Starts working: 6 to 12 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Synchronous ultrasound at a shallower, mid-dermal depth than Ultherapy, often described as more comfortable. ⚠️ BHRC does not carry Sofwave. If it is specifically what you want, we would rather say so now.
Good to know
And where something else would serve you better.

One of the few non-surgical treatments with an FDA clearance for brow lifting specifically.
The submental area, where laxity shows earliest and bothers people most.
Contraction at depth restores the jaw border rather than treating the skin sitting on it.
Lines and crepiness on the chest, an area most devices handle badly.
Because the energy passes through the surface without damaging it, there is nothing to recover from.
It tightens what you have. Significant laxity needs surgery, and you will be told that rather than sold a treatment that cannot deliver it.
Pores, scarring and tone are not what this treats. Microneedling, peels or lasers are, and they cost far less.
Aftercare
Nothing to recover from, and a genuinely slow result.

Some redness and mild swelling that settles within hours. Straight back to normal activity, makeup included.
Tenderness or a tingling sensation in the treated area is common and expected.
Little visible change. This is the hardest part of the treatment and it is entirely normal.
New collagen begins to show as a firmer, better-supported contour.
The full result. Photographs from before treatment are the only reliable way to judge it, because the change is gradual.
The result holds, then ageing resumes from a better starting point.
Most patients return after about a year.

Frequently asked
Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared non-invasive treatment that uses micro-focused ultrasound with visualization (MFU-V) to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and chest. The ultrasound energy bypasses the surface of the skin to reach the deep foundational layers, triggering your body’s natural regenerative process to produce fresh, new collagen.
Some patients see an initial effect right after treatment, but the real results develop over 2-3 months as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin. Since collagen production continues for up to 6 months, improvements may continue to appear during this time. Results can last a year or more, depending on your skin condition and natural aging process. Is Ultherapy painful?
During treatment, you may experience varying levels of discomfort—typically described as warmth, tingling, or brief sensations as the ultrasound energy is deposited. Comfort levels vary from person to person, but the sensation only occurs while the energy is being delivered. Your provider may offer comfort measures such as over-the-counter pain medication or topical numbing to help with comfort.
Treatment time varies depending on the area being treated. A full face and neck treatment typically takes 60-90 minutes. A brow treatment may take 30 minutes, while a chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Your provider will give you a specific time estimate during your consultation based on your customized treatment plan.
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure with no downtime, so you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. Some patients may experience slight redness, swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are typically mild and temporary, usually resolving within a few hours to a few days.
While lasers typically address issues in the superficial layers of the skin (such as fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation), Ultherapy works at a much deeper level—reaching the same foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound energy, while lasers use light energy. They can actually be complementary treatments for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
The ideal Ultherapy candidate has mild to moderate skin laxity—skin that has begun to feel and look less firm than before. A lowered brow line, loose skin on the neck, sagging under the chin, or lines on the chest are common signs. Ultherapy is not a replacement for a surgical facelift but is an excellent option for those not ready for surgery or wanting to extend the results of previous cosmetic surgery.
Most patients achieve their desired results with just one treatment. However, some patients may benefit from additional sessions based on their degree of skin laxity and their body’s biological response to the ultrasound and collagen-building process. Many patients choose to have annual maintenance treatments to stay ahead of the aging process. Individual results may vary. What Megan does
Ultherapy is quoted by the number of ultrasound lines delivered, so a single figure would be a fiction. You get your exact number at the assessment, before you commit to anything.
The provider sees the layers beneath your skin before delivering energy, so treatment is planned against your anatomy.
Ultherapy tightens what you have. Where laxity is significant, no amount of ultrasound substitutes for a facelift and you will hear that from us.
Morpheus8 at $1,200 solves many of the same complaints. Being shown the cheaper option is not something you should have to ask for.
We do not have Thermage or Sofwave. If one of those is specifically what you want, better to know now.
Standardised training and the same protocols in every location.
