BOTOX® is made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum and is its #1 selling treatment. It's the first and only FDA-approved product that can temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead wrinkles look better in adults.
BOTOX® is a neurotoxin injection that targets the nervous system, disrupting nerve signaling processes and muscle contraction. It works to paralyze your muscle cells by preventing the release of acetylcholine. This is how BOTOX® removes that "frown" and gives you a more youthful appearance!
The cost of a BOTOX® treatment widely depends on the area you are choosing to treat. Most sessions start at around $100 and can go up to thousands of dollars. Contact Us today to find out more about the cost of BOTOX®!
Generally, BOTOX® lasts 3-4 months, but there are patients in the 4-6 month range. 2-month ranges have been observed with first-timers; however, a second session usually provides longer results. Everyone has a unique experience, with results varying on how long they last from person to person.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a minimally invasive procedure that improves the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and between eyebrows. It blocks nerve signals to prevent muscle contractions, which can slow down wrinkling by preventing facial muscles from contracting too much.
BOTOX® injections are often used to help people look younger, but what happens when the BOTOX® wears off? Some worry that their face will then appear older. However, once you stop getting BOTOX® treatments, your wrinkles begin to reappear and do not become worse later on. The injections have trained our faces into thinking they're smoother than usual, so after a while, it may take some time for them to readjust from feeling too tight all the time!

Skin hydration will help BOTOX® and Fillers last longer. Drinking plenty of water, applying moisturizer AM and PM, or doing facial exercises are all ways to keep your skin healthy. Skincare can also be an integral part of any treatment plan that utilizes injectables like BOTOX® Cosmetic (Botulinum Toxin) or Sculptra®, as well as many other noninvasive procedures such as fat transfer liposuction treatments with Body contouring surgery elsewhere on the body where results are more profound due to greater levels of tissue laxity than would exist if there was no underlying.
Do not receive BOTOX® Cosmetic if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in BOTOX® Cosmetic had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product such as Myobloc® (rimabotulinumtoxinB), Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA), or Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA); have a skin infection at the planned injection site.
