    HydraFacial · Full face

    In short

A HydraFacial uses a vortex-suction handpiece to cleanse and exfoliate, extract debris from pores, and infuse hydrating serums, all in a single 30 to 50 minute treatment. Unlike a peel or microneedling it does not injure the skin, so there is no peeling, no redness and no downtime, which is why it is the standard pre-event facial.

    The one with no downtime

Almost everything else on this menu injures the skin on purpose and trades recovery for a result. A HydraFacial does not. It cleanses, lifts debris out of pores with suction rather than fingers, and pushes serum back in, and you walk out looking better than when you arrived rather than worse. That is the entire proposition: it is the treatment you can have at lunchtime, or the morning of an event, and nobody can tell you have had anything done except that your skin looks good.

Results last three to four weeks, which is why monthly is the usual rhythm. A single treatment before an event is completely reasonable and needs no series to be worth having.

    Where we treat

    How it works

    How HydraFacial Works

Three things happening through one handpiece.

A vortex tip cleanses and exfoliates the surface, lifting dead cells without abrasive scrubbing.

Gentle suction draws debris out of the pores. This is what replaces manual extraction, and it is why the treatment does not leave the skin red and marked the way a traditional facial can.

The same handpiece infuses hydrating serums and any chosen boosters back into the freshly cleared skin, which is the part that produces the immediate glow.

    Which product

HydraFacial vs a regular facial, and the alternatives

The question every first-time booker actually has.

A BHRC provider preparing HydraFacial boosters
    HydraFacial

Starts working: None. Lasts: 3 to 4 weeks. Extraction is done by suction rather than by hand, and serum is infused under pressure rather than massaged in. That is the real difference from a spa facial: more consistent, no manual squeezing, no post-treatment redness.

    A traditional facial

Starts working: Possible redness. Lasts: 1 to 2 weeks. Manual extraction and massage, more relaxing and usually cheaper. Lovely, and less predictable, and the skin can be blotchy for a day.

    Chemical peel

Starts working: Peels days 3 to 7. Lasts: Months. Actually resurfaces, which HydraFacial does not. From $420 and a week of peeling. Use peels to correct, HydraFacials to maintain.

    Microneedling

Starts working: Redness 1 to 3 days. Lasts: Improves for 6 months. Works deep on texture, scarring and collagen. A different category of treatment entirely, and not a substitute for either.

    Good to know

What HydraFacial Can Do For You

And what it is not pretending to do.

A BHRC provider performing a HydraFacial
    Deep clean congested pores

Suction extraction clears debris more thoroughly and far more gently than fingers.

    Immediate visible glow

The infusion step is why skin looks better walking out than walking in, on the same day.

    No downtime whatsoever

No peeling, no redness, no recovery. The only treatment here you can have before an event rather than after.

    Hydrate genuinely dehydrated skin

Serum is infused under pressure into freshly cleared skin, which is more effective than applying it at home.

    Boosters for specific concerns

Brightening, plumping and clarifying boosters target tone, fine lines or congestion within the same treatment.

    Scalp as well as face

Keravive applies the same technology to scalp health and the environment hair grows from.

    It does not resurface

It will not correct pigmentation, scarring or deep lines. Peels, microneedling and lasers do that, and this maintains the result between them.

    Aftercare

Aftercare, and how long it lasts

There is essentially nothing to recover from.

A BHRC provider finishing a HydraFacial treatment
    Straight afterwards

Skin looks hydrated and bright immediately. Makeup can go straight back on, though most people would rather not.

    The first 24 hours

Skip harsh actives and let the infused serums work. Nothing else is required.

    Days 2 to 7

The glow settles into a general improvement in tone and clarity.

    Weeks 3 to 4

The effect gradually fades, which is where the monthly rhythm comes from.

    Sun

SPF as always. Nothing about this treatment makes skin especially sun-sensitive, unlike a peel.

    Before an event

Same day is fine. That is the whole point of it.

    Between other treatments

Commonly used to maintain results between peel or laser series.

    Frequently asked

    HydraFacial questions, answered

Common Questions HydraFacial FAQ What is HydraFacial and how does it work?

HydraFacial is a multi-step facial treatment that uses patented Vortex-Fusion technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate your skin. The device creates a vortex effect to easily dislodge impurities while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums, antioxidants, and peptides deep into the skin. It’s essentially a deep clean, extraction, and hydration treatment all in one.

How long do HydraFacial results last?

You’ll see immediate results right after your treatment—glowing, hydrated skin with a smooth texture. These results typically last 5-7 days for the initial glow, with improved skin health lasting 2-4 weeks. For optimal ongoing results, we recommend monthly HydraFacial treatments. Regular sessions provide cumulative benefits, continuously improving your skin’s health and appearance. Is HydraFacial painful?

    Is there any downtime?

HydraFacial is completely painless—most clients describe it as a cool, refreshing sensation. Unlike traditional extractions that can be uncomfortable, the vortex suction is gentle yet effective. There’s absolutely no downtime. You can apply makeup and return to normal activities immediately. Many clients schedule HydraFacials during lunch breaks or before special events.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

For most clients, we recommend monthly HydraFacial treatments to maintain optimal skin health. This aligns with your skin’s natural 28-day renewal cycle. However, if you’re addressing specific concerns like acne or hyperpigmentation, your aesthetician may recommend treatments every 2-3 weeks initially. During your consultation, we’ll create a personalized treatment schedule.

What skin types is HydraFacial suitable for?

HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The treatment is customizable with different boosters and serums to address specific concerns like aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, or dehydration. Our aestheticians will tailor your treatment based on your skin type and goals. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin yet effective for oily or acne-prone skin.

What’s the difference between HydraFacial and a regular facial?

Traditional facials typically involve manual extractions (which can be painful) and surface-level product application. HydraFacial uses advanced vortex technology for painless, more thorough extractions while simultaneously infusing serums deep into the skin. The results are more immediate, more consistent, and there’s no redness or irritation afterward. It’s essentially several treatments combined into one efficient session.

Can I combine HydraFacial with other treatments?

Yes! HydraFacial pairs beautifully with many other treatments. A growth factor boost is a popular add-on that enhances results. Some clients combine HydraFacial with Botox or filler appointments. It’s also an excellent prep treatment before more intensive procedures like microneedling or laser treatments. Our aestheticians can recommend the best combination for your skincare goals.

What should I do before and after my HydraFacial?

Before your treatment, avoid using retinoids or exfoliating products for 2-3 days. Come with clean skin if possible. After your HydraFacial, avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF. Skip intense workouts and saunas for 24 hours. Don’t use harsh products like retinoids or acids for 24-48 hours to let the serums fully absorb. Your aesthetician will provide detailed aftercare instructions. Individual results may vary.
