The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for performing BHRC’s treatments in a safe and effective manner as well as providing recommendations on follow-up treatments and appropriate products to purchase. The Physician Assistant may also be called upon to do patient consultations as well.
General Job Duties, Responsibilities and Capabilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Patient consultations
- Educate, review and explain pre-and post-treatment care instructions and the treatment process to patients.
- Observe record and report patient vitals, conditions, reactions, and treatments to the practice manager and/or physician.
- Administer injections and treatments.
- Prescription call-in
- Return patient phone messages, triage-incoming calls, and pre-certify patients for treatments.
- Oversee preparation of treatment rooms, including restocking medical supplies, educational materials, and pharmaceutical supplies and samples.
- Answer questions about and recommend aesthetic products and services.
