A qualified BHRC practitioner will be able to recommend which solution out of the following will cater to your skin’s needs.
Lowest Grade: Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) Peel: AHA peels work at the surface level, and are best used to help with rough/dry skin and texture. The AHA peel can also lessen dark spots or skin discoloration from the sun, hormones, and aging.
Medium Grade: Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) Peel: A medium grade peel is like the TCA medical peel is used to treat fine lines, surface level acne and skin imperfections. A single treatment lasts for 15 minutes. If you have darker skin, you will require two or more treatments.
Higher Grade: Carbolic Acid or Phenol Peel: A phenol peel corrects deep wrinkles, dark spots, and skin imperfections. Phenol peels are not recommended for use other than on the face because it can scar other parts of the body.
