IV and nutrient therapy · NAD+
In short
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, bypassing digestion so the full dose reaches your cells rather than a fraction of it. BHRC offers NAD+, Myers cocktail, glutathione, high-dose vitamin C, hydration and recovery blends, plus B12, biotin and lipotropic injections. Every formula is precision-dosed and administered by a licensed medical professional.
The argument for IV over oral is absorption. Swallow a vitamin and a variable and often small fraction of it survives digestion to reach your cells. Infuse it and effectively all of it does. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why IV makes sense for some things and is unnecessary for others: if you are well, eating properly and absorbing normally, a drip is a convenience rather than a correction. Where it earns its place is depletion, illness, poor absorption, heavy training, travel and recovery.

How it works
Why the delivery route is the entire point.
A provider reviews what you are actually trying to address and selects or builds the formula. Anything given intravenously is a medical treatment, which is why this starts with an assessment rather than a menu.
A cannula is placed and the infusion runs, typically over 30 to 90 minutes depending on the formula. NAD+ runs slowest because infusing it quickly is uncomfortable.
Because the nutrients bypass the digestive tract entirely, they reach the bloodstream at full dose rather than at whatever fraction survives absorption. That difference is the reason to do it this way.
Which product
Matched to what you are actually trying to fix.

Starts working: Same day. Lasts: Days to a week. Magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. The original and still the most requested. The sensible first drip if you are not treating anything specific.
Starts working: Same day to days. Lasts: Days to weeks. The longest and most involved infusion here, and the one with the most enthusiasm attached to it. NAD+ declining with age is well established; what raising it does over time in humans is still being studied, and we would rather say that than oversell it.
Starts working: Same day. Lasts: Days. The body's principal antioxidant, given as a push or added to a drip. Commonly chosen for skin brightening and oxidative stress.
Starts working: Immediate. Lasts: Days. Fluids and electrolytes, with anti-nausea or anti-inflammatory support where indicated. The most straightforwardly useful thing on this list: if you are genuinely dehydrated, this works and works quickly.
Good to know
Carried over from what our providers actually treat.

B vitamins, amino acids and minerals delivered directly to your cells, without the crash that comes with caffeine.
High-dose vitamin C, zinc and other immune-supporting nutrients.
IV fluids restore hydration faster than drinking can, which is genuinely useful after illness, travel or heavy exertion.
Glutathione, biotin and vitamin C together, for oxidative stress and skin quality.
Used around training loads and travel, where depletion is real and absorption is often compromised.
The full dose reaches the bloodstream rather than the fraction that survives your gut. That is the mechanism and it is not in dispute.
If you are healthy and absorbing normally, a drip is a convenience. We would rather tell you that than sell you a course.
Aftercare
Straightforward, with no recovery.

You sit in a private treatment room for 30 to 90 minutes. Most people work or read through it.
No downtime. Some patients feel the effect immediately, particularly with hydration.
Mild bruising or tenderness where the cannula sat is normal and settles within a day or two.
Drink water. An infusion is not a reason to stop.
Varies enormously by formula and by why you are having it. Your provider will advise rather than default you to weekly.
Then it was not what you needed, and we will say so rather than book you in again.
Some patients use it seasonally, some around travel or training, some monthly.

Frequently asked
IV (intravenous) therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fluids directly into your bloodstream through a small catheter. By bypassing your digestive system, IV therapy achieves 100% absorption compared to just 10-30% with oral supplements. This means your body receives the full therapeutic benefit of each nutrient immediately.
Most standard IV infusions take 30-60 minutes. Some specialized treatments like NAD+ infusions may take 2-4 hours depending on the dosage. Quick nutrient injections (B12, glutathione push) take just a few minutes. We encourage you to relax, read, work on your laptop, or simply rest during your infusion. Is IV therapy safe?
IV therapy is very safe when administered by licensed medical professionals. You’ll feel a small pinch when the IV catheter is inserted, similar to having blood drawn. After that, most clients feel nothing or just a cool sensation as the fluids enter. Our skilled nurses are experts at making the process as comfortable as possible.
Many clients report feeling effects during or immediately after their infusion—increased energy, mental clarity, and a sense of well-being. Hydration benefits are felt right away. Some benefits like immune support and skin improvements become more noticeable over 24-48 hours. Regular sessions provide cumulative benefits.
We offer a comprehensive menu including: Myers’ Cocktail (energy & wellness), Immunity Boost (high-dose vitamin C & zinc), Beauty Glow (glutathione & biotin for skin), Athletic Recovery (electrolytes & amino acids), Hangover/Dehydration Recovery, NAD+ Infusion (anti-aging), and customized formulas. We also offer add-on injections like B12, vitamin D, and glutathione pushes.
Frequency depends on your goals. For general wellness maintenance, monthly sessions work well. If you’re addressing specific concerns like chronic fatigue or immune support, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may be recommended initially. Athletes often benefit from sessions before and after major events. Our team will recommend an optimal schedule during your consultation.
IV therapy benefits most healthy adults looking to optimize their wellness, boost energy, support immunity, or recover from travel, illness, or physical exertion. It’s especially helpful for those with digestive issues that limit nutrient absorption, busy professionals needing quick wellness support, athletes, and anyone seeking enhanced hydration and vitality.
At BHRC, all IV therapies are administered under medical supervision. During your initial consultation, our medical professionals will review your health history to ensure IV therapy is safe and appropriate for you. No outside prescription is needed—we handle everything in-house to ensure you receive the safest, most effective treatment. Individual results may vary. I was skeptical about IV therapy, but after my first session I felt incredible. My energy was through the roof and the brain fog I’d been dealing with for months just disappeared. Now I come in monthly—it’s become part of my wellness routine!
Cocktail As a frequent traveler, jet lag was destroying my productivity. Now I book an IV session the day I land and I’m back to 100% within hours. The hydration plus B vitamins make such a huge difference. Absolute game-changer for business travel.
IV treatments and my skin has never looked better. My aesthetician even commented on how much brighter and more even my complexion is. The glow is real!
