Dysport® is an injectable that is derived from the same neurotoxin as Botox. This product is specifically formulated to target frown lines. These signs of aging usually grow deeper over time and are challenging to correct with traditional anti-aging treatments. With Dysport, you could see these lines diminish or even disappear.
Neuromodulators like Dysport® reduce the appearance of lines by relaxing and limiting the movement of muscles. Your technician injects a small, highly concentrated amount directly into your muscle to cause it to relax, thereby reducing wrinkles in that area over time while protecting other areas not injected with fluids from damage or loss.
A typical appointment takes 15-25 minutes and involves several easy, pain-free injections in the brow region. No downtime is required during recovery; your results will usually last up to 5 months!
"I got 100 units of Dysport on Groupon for my forehead and frown lines, and so pleased with my results. I went on a Monday and was in and out in 20 minutes. Everyone there was super sweet and helpful. The physician's assistant that did my procedure was Heidi. She was fantastic!!! She explained the entire procedure and made me feel 100% comfortable. I even asked her about future improvements I wanted to make, and she took the time to recommend what would work for me. I didn't feel rushed at all and would definitely recommend her to everyone. I will be going back for Radiesse and Juvederm very soon. Love this place."

Dysport is a neurotoxin with the quickest "onset" of action, typically requiring 24-72 hours for all results to be realized. Dysport contains smaller molecules than Botox, so the results are generally faster (Botox can take up to 2 weeks for results). In some areas, this is beneficial due to diffusion, but in others, it isn't.
Some patients have reported that Dysport lasts longer than Botox, and there are some scientific reasons behind this. It appears that the antibodies in our bodies do not affect Dysport as much since it has a lower protein load than Botox. This means we can expect less of an effect on its results!
Botox might not be stronger than Dysport, but it is more potent. You need three times the amount of Dysport to have an equal effect as Botox, so you will need more units. However, Dysport is typically much cheaper per unit, so you will spend the same amount for a similar outcome.
Dysport is a simple and effective way to have a non-surgical brow lift. A Dysport brow lift will remove forehead lines, raise sagging eyebrows, and reduce the appearance of upper eyelid hooding. The procedure takes just 10 minutes with minimal downtime or risks for those interested in looking younger without having surgery done on their face.
Do not have Dysport treatment if youare allergic toDysportor any of its ingredients (see the end of the Medication Guide for a list of ingredients), are allergic to cow's milk protein, or had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product, such as Myobloc®, Botox®, or Xeomin®, have a skin infection at the planned injection site, under 18 years of age, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
