Skin
Medical-grade peels that resurface chemically rather than mechanically. Four VI Peel formulations, chosen for the concern rather than sold as one generic treatment.
$480per treatment
For stubborn pigmentation and melasma
New clients save 15% on your first treatment.
Every peel includes the take-home post-peel kit, which is not optional: how you care for the skin during the peeling days affects the result more than the strength of the peel does. Most concerns need a series of three to six, spaced four weeks apart.

Chemical peels · Full face
In short
A chemical peel applies a medical-grade acid solution that loosens the bonds between dead surface skin cells so the top layer sheds over the following days, revealing newer skin underneath and prompting cell turnover. VI Peel comes in several formulations, so the acid blend is matched to the concern: tone and fine lines, stubborn pigmentation, acne, or body skin.
"Chemical peel" describes a category, not a treatment. The acid blend that corrects melasma is not the blend that clears active acne, and neither is the one that softens fine lines. We carry four VI Peel formulations for exactly that reason, and the consultation is mostly about matching the right one to the concern you actually have. Booking a generic peel and hoping is how people end up disappointed with a treatment that works perfectly well for something else.

A single peel gives a visible refresh. Correcting pigmentation or acne needs a series, usually three to six treatments four weeks apart, and melasma in particular is managed rather than cured.

How it works
Why the peeling is the treatment rather than a side effect.
A medical-grade acid solution is applied to cleansed skin. It loosens the bonds holding dead cells at the surface, and penetrates to a depth set by the formulation and the number of layers applied.
Over the following days that surface layer lifts and sheds. The peeling is not a side effect, it is the mechanism: the damaged, pigmented, sun-affected surface is what leaves.
Underneath, accelerated cell turnover brings newer skin forward and, with a series, gradually improves tone and texture beyond the surface layer.
Which product
Chemical resurfacing against the mechanical and thermal options.

Starts working: Peels days 3 to 7. Lasts: Months, with maintenance. Chemical resurfacing of the surface layer. The strongest option for pigment and tone, the cheapest way into medical-grade skin treatment at $420, and safe across skin tones when the formulation is chosen correctly.
Starts working: Redness 1 to 3 days. Lasts: Improves for up to 6 months. Mechanical, and works deeper rather than at the surface. Better for texture, scarring and collagen. Peels beat it on pigment, it beats peels on scars.
Starts working: 5 to 7 days. Lasts: Years, with sun care. Thermal, and far more powerful than either. Reaches deep scarring and lines that a peel cannot, at the cost of a week of real recovery and from $700.
Starts working: None. Lasts: Weeks. Not resurfacing at all. Cleansing, exfoliation and hydration with no downtime, from $175. The maintenance treatment between peels rather than a substitute.
Good to know
The concerns each formulation is chosen for.

Surface pigment is shed rather than faded, which is why peels outperform most topicals on discolouration.
Precision Plus is formulated for it. Melasma is managed rather than cured, and sun protection between treatments does as much work as the peel.
The Purify formulation treats the active breakout and the marks it leaves behind at the same time.
Accelerated turnover improves the fine surface lines that come from sun and time rather than muscle movement.
Newer surface skin reads smoother and reflects light more evenly.
Peels do not rely on light or heat, so with the right formulation they suit deeper skin that certain lasers do not.
Chest, back, arms and hands, where sun damage usually shows earliest and gets treated last.
Aftercare
The peeling days are predictable. Knowing the shape of them is most of what makes it easy.

Skin feels tight and looks slightly bronzed or flushed. No peeling yet. Leave the solution on for the time your provider specifies.
Tightness increases. Still little visible peeling. Start the post-peel kit exactly as directed.
Peeling begins in earnest, usually around the mouth first. Do not pull or pick it: lifting skin before it is ready is how you get a mark that outlasts the peel.
Peeling completes. New skin underneath is pink, tight and noticeably brighter.
Colour settles and the real result becomes visible.
Absolutely non-negotiable for two weeks and sensible forever. New skin burns easily, and on a pigmentation peel sun exposure undoes the whole point.
Four weeks apart for a series.

Frequently asked
A chemical peel is a skin resurfacing treatment that uses specially formulated acid solutions to remove damaged outer layers of skin. The controlled exfoliation breaks down bonds between dead skin cells, prompting your skin to shed and regenerate. This triggers collagen production and cellular renewal, revealing smoother, brighter, more youthful skin underneath.
You’ll notice immediate brightening after treatment, but full results develop over 1-2 weeks as your skin completes its renewal cycle. Most VI Peel patients see significant improvement within 7-10 days as the peeling process reveals fresh, rejuvenated skin. For optimal results, a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is often recommended. Are chemical peels painful?
Most patients experience a mild tingling or warming sensation during application, which is completely normal. The VI Peel is designed for comfort, and any tingling typically subsides quickly. We use fans and cooling techniques to maximize your comfort throughout the treatment.
VI Peels typically involve 5-7 days of peeling and mild redness. During recovery, you can typically work and go about normal activities, though you may want to schedule around social events. Each VI Peel includes a take-home post-peel kit with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.
Each VI Peel formulation targets specific concerns. VI Peel Advanced is ideal for anti-aging and overall skin rejuvenation. VI Peel Precision Plus targets stubborn pigmentation, melasma, and sun damage. VI Peel Purify Precision Plus combines acne-fighting and pigment-correcting ingredients. VI Peel Precision
Yes! The VI Peel is formulated to be safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. The VI Peel Advanced is an excellent option for those with sensitivity concerns, as it provides effective results with a gentle formulation. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin’s tolerance and select the ideal VI Peel formulation to ensure a safe, comfortable experience with excellent results.
VI Peels are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart to allow complete healing between treatments. Most patients achieve optimal results with a series of 3-4 treatments, then transition to maintenance peels every 3-6 months. Your provider will create a treatment schedule tailored to your needs and skin goals.
Before your peel, avoid retinoids, exfoliating products, and waxing for 5-7 days. Avoid sun exposure and tanning. After treatment, protect your skin with SPF 30+ daily, avoid direct sun, don’t pick at peeling skin, and skip makeup for 24-48 hours. What Megan does
Advanced, Precision Plus, Purify and Body. The consultation is about choosing correctly, not about selling the strongest one.
How the skin is cared for during the peeling days affects the result more than the strength of the peel. It comes with the treatment rather than as an add-on.
Melasma is managed, not cured. Anyone promising otherwise is selling you a series you will be disappointed by.
With the right formulation, peels suit deeper skin that light-based devices can struggle with. Your skin type is assessed first.
At $420 this is the least expensive medical treatment on the menu, and often the right first step before anything more involved.
Standardised training and the same protocols in every location.
