Skin tightening
Focused ultrasound that reaches the same deep layer a surgeon tightens, without an incision. The only lifting treatment here that works below the skin entirely.
$4,500per treatment
$4,500 to $4,800; full face alone from $3,500
New clients save 15% on a first treatment at all five Ultherapy clinics.
Each clinic prices Ultherapy by the area treated: Valencia and Westlake Village split the face into upper and lower, while West LA, Downtown Summerlin and Paradise Valley price the face, neck and chest as areas and combine them. Your provider confirms the plan and the total before booking. See price by clinic.

Ultherapy · Brow
In short
Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound to deposit heat at precise depths beneath the skin, including the SMAS layer that a surgeon tightens during a facelift. The heat causes controlled contraction and triggers new collagen production over the following months. Nothing is cut and nothing is injected, and because the energy passes through the surface without damaging it, there is no downtime. At BHRC a full face is $3,500 to $3,600, face and neck $4,500 to $4,800 and the brow $600 to $700, depending on the clinic. Merz says results build over two to three months and can last a year or more.
Every other tightening treatment on this menu works through the skin: needles make channels, radiofrequency heats the dermis, lasers resurface the surface. Ultherapy skips all of it. Focused ultrasound passes through the surface without touching it and deposits its energy at a set depth underneath, including the SMAS, which is the layer a surgeon actually pulls on during a facelift. That is why it is the most expensive thing here and why it involves no recovery at all: nothing on the outside of you has been treated.

Xperience+ rewards
Ultherapy earns points in Xperience+, the loyalty program from Merz Aesthetics, which also covers Xeomin, Radiesse and Belotero. Register before your visit; after an eligible treatment your provider looks up your Xperience+ account by phone number or email and your points are added.
Merz says every 100 points equals $10 in savings, redeemable as a discount on future qualifying treatments or for products in the Xperience+ rewards store. Points per treatment, limits and expiry are set by Merz Aesthetics, not by BHRC, and can change.

How it works
Why it can reach surgical depth without an incision.
Ultrasound imaging lets the provider see the layers beneath your skin before any energy is delivered, so treatment is planned against your actual anatomy rather than a standard template.
Micro-focused ultrasound is then delivered in lines at set depths, depositing heat at precise points beneath the surface. The skin the energy passes through is unaffected, which is why there is no downtime.
Those heated points contract immediately and then trigger new collagen production, which is the part that lifts. The result builds over two to three months rather than appearing on the day.
Which product
Four ways to tighten, working at four different depths.

Starts working: 8 to 12 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Micro-focused ultrasound, and the only one of these that reaches the SMAS layer a surgeon tightens. Ultrasound imaging means the provider sees where energy is going. Deepest, most expensive, no downtime. This is what BHRC carries.
Starts working: 2 to 4 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Radiofrequency delivered through needles into the dermis. Shallower than Ultherapy, so better for skin quality and texture alongside tightening, and considerably cheaper at $1,200. Also carried here, and often the better value.
Starts working: 2 to 6 months. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Monopolar radiofrequency across a broad area rather than at focused points. A reasonable alternative with a long track record. BHRC does not carry Thermage.
Starts working: 6 to 12 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Synchronous ultrasound at a shallower, mid-dermal depth than Ultherapy. Offered at our Henderson clinic, which does not list Ultherapy. See our Sofwave vs Ultherapy guide.
Good to know
And where something else would serve you better.

One of the few non-surgical treatments with an FDA clearance for brow lifting specifically.
The submental area, where laxity shows earliest and bothers people most.
Contraction at depth restores the jaw border rather than treating the skin sitting on it.
Lines and crepiness on the chest, an area most devices handle badly.
Because the energy passes through the surface without damaging it, there is nothing to recover from.
It tightens what you have. Significant laxity needs surgery, and you will be told that rather than sold a treatment that cannot deliver it.
Pores, scarring and tone are not what this treats. Microneedling, peels or lasers are, and they cost far less.
Aftercare
Nothing to recover from, and a genuinely slow result.

Some redness and mild swelling that settles within hours. Straight back to normal activity, makeup included.
Tenderness or a tingling sensation in the treated area is common and expected.
Little visible change. This is the hardest part of the treatment and it is entirely normal.
New collagen begins to show as a firmer, better-supported contour.
The full result. Photographs from before treatment are the only reliable way to judge it, because the change is gradual.
The result holds, then ageing resumes from a better starting point.
Most patients return after about a year.
Aftercare
Your result lasts longer when what you use at home is doing the same work. This is the routine our providers start most patients on, dispensed through the practice. Not sure it is right for your skin? Take the skin quiz, or ask your provider to build one around the treatment you are having.

skinbetter science
An exfoliating foam cleanser for normal to oily skin, for a brighter and more refined look without a separate scrub.

skinbetter science
A morning antioxidant serum with a broader antioxidant blend than a single-ingredient vitamin C.

skinbetter science
skinbetter science's most recognized product, and the one most people start with. AlphaRet pairs a retinoid with an alpha hydroxy acid in a single overnight step.

skinbetter science
An eye gel with a visible short-term tightening effect alongside longer-term peptide work.
All four steps together. Dispensed by the practice and shipped to you, or picked up at any of our 22 centers.

Frequently asked
Ultherapy is a micro-focused ultrasound device from Merz Aesthetics with real-time imaging, so the provider can see the layers beneath the skin and place energy at set depths. That heat stimulates the body's own collagen and elastin. Merz says it is the only treatment cleared by the FDA for lifting the brow and the skin on the neck and under the chin, and for improving lines and wrinkles on the decolletage.
At BHRC a full face is $3,500 in Valencia and Westlake Village and $3,600 at West LA, Downtown Summerlin and Paradise Valley. Face and neck is $4,500 or $4,800, the brow $600 to $700, and the area around the mouth from $250. See the price by clinic table.
$600 at West LA, Downtown Summerlin and Paradise Valley, where a brow and eye lift together is $960, and $700 in Valencia and Westlake Village. Merz lists the brow as one of Ultherapy's FDA-cleared lifting areas.
$4,500 in Valencia and Westlake Village and $4,800 at West LA, Downtown Summerlin and Paradise Valley. Adding the chest makes it $5,500 or $6,000.
Some people see an initial lift straight away, but Merz says the main result develops over two to three months as new collagen and elastin form. A single treatment can give results that last a year or more on the face.
Merz says you may feel heat or tingling as the energy is delivered, and comfort varies from person to person. The sensation only occurs while energy is being delivered, and your provider can discuss comfort options before treatment.
Treatment time varies depending on the area being treated. A full face and neck treatment typically takes 60-90 minutes. A brow treatment may take 30 minutes, while a chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Your provider will give you a specific time estimate during your consultation based on your customized treatment plan.
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure with no downtime, so you can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment. Some patients may experience slight redness, swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are typically mild and temporary, usually resolving within a few hours to a few days.
Lasers use light and mostly treat the surface layers of the skin: tone, texture and fine lines. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound delivered beneath the surface to stimulate collagen deeper down, so it treats laxity rather than texture. The two can be planned together.
Someone with mild to moderate laxity: a lowering brow, loose skin under the chin or on the neck, or lines on the chest. Merz says typical candidates start in their 30s. It is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, and significant laxity needs a surgical opinion.
Merz says most people see meaningful results after one session. Some choose a repeat treatment later based on how their skin responds; your provider will tell you at review whether it is worth it.
It is designed for mild to moderate laxity, and Merz says most people see meaningful results after one session, building over two to three months. It does not give a surgical result, and it does not treat texture or pigment. Your provider should tell you honestly at consultation if your laxity is beyond what it can do.
Both use ultrasound. Ultherapy is a micro-focused ultrasound with real-time imaging; Sofwave works at a shallower depth in the skin. At BHRC, Ultherapy is offered at West LA, Valencia, Westlake Village, Downtown Summerlin and Paradise Valley, and Sofwave at Henderson. Our Sofwave vs Ultherapy guide compares them in detail.
Ultherapy is offered at West Los Angeles, Valencia, Santa Clarita, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale.
Yes. Ultherapy earns points in Xperience+, Merz Aesthetics' loyalty program, and BHRC accepts it. Tell the front desk your Xperience+ phone number or email so the points are added after treatment. Merz says every 100 points equals $10 in savings.

What Megan does
Ultherapy is quoted by the number of ultrasound lines delivered, so a single figure would be a fiction. You get your exact number at the assessment, before you commit to anything.
The provider sees the layers beneath your skin before delivering energy, so treatment is planned against your anatomy.
Ultherapy tightens what you have. Where laxity is significant, no amount of ultrasound substitutes for a facelift and you will hear that from us.
Morpheus8 at $1,200 solves many of the same complaints. Being shown the cheaper option is not something you should have to ask for.
We do not have Thermage or Sofwave. If one of those is specifically what you want, better to know now.
Standardised training and the same protocols in every location.
