Hair
Most hair loss has a cause you can measure. We are a hormone clinic that also does restoration, so we look for it before we start selling you sessions.
$950per session
PRP microneedling or microneedling with Cell Factor
$950per session
Custom priced, typically 3 to 4 sessions
New clients save 15% on your first treatment.
$950 per session, whether that is PRP or Cell Factor. Most people need three to four sessions a month apart, then maintenance twice a year. Blood work to find the cause is part of the consultation, because paying for four sessions while an untreated thyroid keeps pushing hair out is the most expensive mistake available here.

Hair restoration · Crown
In short
PRP hair restoration draws your own blood, concentrates the platelets, and injects them into the scalp to stimulate follicles that are thinning but still alive. At BHRC it costs $950 per session, typically three to four sessions spaced a month apart. It works on thinning, not on scarred or fully dormant scalp, and it works far better once any thyroid, iron or hormonal cause has been identified and corrected.
Hair loss is a symptom, and in women especially it is very often a symptom of something measurable: an underactive thyroid, low ferritin, the hormonal shift of perimenopause, or androgen excess. Those are blood tests, not guesses, and BHRC runs them in the same building that does the restoration. That order matters commercially as well as clinically, because PRP into a scalp that is being actively undermined by an untreated thyroid is money spent against a headwind. Correct the driver and the same four sessions do considerably more.
Units and cost
The realistic course, not the best case.
| Area | Typical units | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Initial course | 3 to 4 sessions, monthly | $2,850 to $3,800 |
| Single session | PRP or Cell Factor | $950 |
| Maintenance | Every 4 to 6 months | $950 each |
| Cause investigation | Blood panel | With consultation |
| Thyroid workup | If indicated | See thyroid therapy |
| Hormone workup | If indicated | See hormone therapy |
Budget for the course, not the session. One session will not tell you whether this works for you, and anyone selling you a single session as a trial is selling you a disappointment.

How it works
Your own platelets, concentrated, put where the follicles are.
A small blood draw is spun in a centrifuge, separating the platelet-rich plasma from the rest. It is your own blood, so there is nothing foreign going in and no allergy risk.
That concentrate is injected across the thinning areas of the scalp. The growth factors in it signal follicles that have miniaturised but are still alive to move back into an active growth phase.
Hair grows on a slow cycle, so nothing visible happens for the first two to three months. Shedding usually slows first, density follows, and the full picture is at six months.
Results are maintained, not permanent. Whatever caused the loss is usually still there, which is why maintenance sessions and treating the underlying cause both matter.
Which product
Including the ones we do not sell.

Starts working: None. Lasts: 3 to 6 months. Your own platelets, injected. The best-evidenced in-clinic option for thinning hair, $950 a session. Works on follicles that are miniaturised but alive. It will not regrow hair from scarred or fully dormant scalp.
Starts working: None. Lasts: 3 to 6 months. Growth factors delivered by microneedling rather than injection, $950. An option where PRP has plateaued or where scalp injections are not tolerable.
Starts working: None. Lasts: 4 to 6 months. We do not sell these and we will still tell you they work. They are cheap, evidence-backed, and best used ALONGSIDE PRP rather than instead of it. If cost is the constraint, start there.
Starts working: None. Lasts: 3 to 6 months. Thyroid correction, iron repletion or hormone therapy. Not a hair treatment at all, and frequently the thing that actually changes the outcome. This is what we can do that a hair clinic cannot.
Starts working: Weeks. Lasts: 9 to 12 months. We do not perform these. For established bald areas with no viable follicles left, a transplant is the honest answer and PRP is not. We will say so and refer you.
Good to know
And where it stops.

Usually the first thing to change, often within eight to twelve weeks, and often before visible density returns.
Miniaturised follicles produce thicker hair again. The crown and the part line respond best.
The most common complaint in women, and the one that responds most visibly.
Early recession responds. An established bald area does not.
Thyroid, ferritin, and hormones, tested on site. This is what a hormone clinic can do that a hair clinic cannot.
Female pattern loss is under-treated and often hormonally driven. It is a large part of what we see.
PRP stimulates living follicles. Where the follicle is gone, nothing injected will bring it back, and a transplant is the honest answer.
Aftercare
Nothing dramatic, which is the point.

Scalp tenderness and mild swelling. Back to work immediately, and no visible sign of anything.
No harsh products, no swimming, and leave the scalp alone.
Nothing visible. This is normal and expected: hair operates on a cycle measured in months.
Shedding usually slows. Most people notice this in the shower drain before they notice it in the mirror.
Density improves. Photographs, taken under the same light, are the only reliable measure.
Every four to six months. The underlying cause is usually still there.
Minoxidil, finasteride or corrected thyroid all compound the result. Combination beats monotherapy here.
Is it for you
Restoration Hair restoration treatments are ideal for individuals experiencing thinning hair or early-to-moderate hair loss.

Frequently asked
PRP Microneedling for hair loss combines two powerful therapies: platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood and precision microneedling. A small blood sample is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets and growth factors. Microneedling then creates tiny channels in the scalp, allowing PRP to penetrate deeply into the hair follicles. The growth factors stimulate dormant follicles, promote new hair growth, and strengthen existing hair.
Most patients notice reduced hair shedding within 4-6 weeks of their first treatment. New hair growth typically becomes visible at 3-4 months, with significant improvement in density and thickness at 6-9 months. Results continue to improve with each session. Microneedling with Cell Factor may show slightly faster initial improvement due to the concentrated growth factor delivery. Your provider will track your progress with photos at each follow-up visit. Is hair restoration treatment painful?
Both PRP Microneedling and Microneedling with Cell Factor involve minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied to the scalp before treatment to ensure your comfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild tingling or pressure. Downtime is minimal—you may experience slight scalp redness or tenderness for 1-2 days. Most patients return to normal activities the same day, though we recommend avoiding washing your hair for 24 hours post-treatment.
Most patients benefit from an initial series of 3-4 PRP Microneedling or Cell Factor sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After the initial series, maintenance sessions every 6-12 months help sustain and continue improving results. The exact number of sessions depends on the severity of your hair loss, your treatment goals, and how your body responds. Your provider will create a personalized plan during your consultation.
The best treatment depends on your specific hair loss pattern and goals. PRP Microneedling is excellent for early-to-moderate thinning and uses your body’s own growth factors for natural results. Microneedling with Cell Factor is ideal for patients seeking enhanced regrowth with the added power of concentrated growth factor serums. Many patients achieve the best results by combining both treatments. Your provider will assess your hair loss and recommend the optimal approach during your consultation.
Hair restoration results are long-lasting but not permanent without maintenance. The new hair growth stimulated by PRP and Cell Factor treatments is real, natural hair that grows normally. However, since the underlying causes of hair loss (genetics, hormones, aging) continue, maintenance sessions every 6-12 months are recommended to sustain results. Many patients find that ongoing treatments keep their hair looking full and healthy for years.
PRP Microneedling and Microneedling with Cell Factor are most effective for androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), stress-related hair loss, and early-to-moderate thinning where hair follicles are still present but dormant or miniaturized. These treatments work for both men and women. They are less effective for complete baldness where follicles have been permanently lost. During your consultation, our providers will evaluate your hair loss type and determine if these treatments are the right fit for you.
Absolutely! Many of our best results come from combining PRP Microneedling with Cell Factor treatments. PRP provides your body’s own concentrated growth factors while Cell Factor adds additional growth factor serums for a multi-pathway approach to follicle stimulation. Our providers specialize in creating combination treatment plans that maximize regrowth potential for comprehensive hair restoration. Individual results may vary. Hair restoration treatments are not a cure for baldness and results depend on individual factors including the type and severity of hair loss, scalp health, and number of sessions. What Megan does
Thyroid, ferritin and hormones, on site. Hair loss is a symptom, and in women it is very often a symptom of something a blood test will find.
That is the whole difference. We can correct the driver, not just stimulate the follicle, and no dedicated hair clinic or telehealth subscription can do both.
Minoxidil and finasteride work, they are cheap, and they combine well with PRP. We would rather you got the result.
Where the follicle is gone, PRP will not bring it back. A transplant is the honest answer and we will say so rather than sell you four sessions.
PRP or Cell Factor, both $950. The choice is clinical, not commercial.
Standardised training and the same protocols in every location.
